Industrial ventilation is divided into natural ventilation and mechanical ventilation according to its power source. Natural ventilation relies on the thermal pressure formed by the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor air and the wind pressure formed by the outdoor wind to make the air flow; mechanical ventilation relies on the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the ventilation system formed by the ventilator to make the air flow in a certain direction.

In order to control dust, harmful gases or vapors in the workshop, local exhaust air is mainly used. 1. Natural ventilation
(1) The basic principle of natural ventilation.
1. When the air temperature in the hot press workshop increases, the volume expands and the density decreases. Due to the low temperature and high density of the air outside the workshop, the air gravity difference between the inside and outside of the workshop is caused, that is, hot pressing. The result is that the air outside the workshop flows in from the lower door window, and the hot air in the workshop is discharged from the upper skylight. This phenomenon is natural ventilation. The greater the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor, the greater the heat pressure, the better the natural ventilation effect.
Although the size of hot-pressure natural ventilation depends on the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor, it also depends on the distance between the air inlet and exhaust.

2. Wind pressure When the outdoor airflow meets the building, circumfluence will occur. After a certain distance, the airflow resumes parallel flow. Due to the obstruction of the building, the pressure distribution of the outdoor airflow around the building will change, and the airflow on the windward side will be blocked. , The dynamic pressure decreases, the static pressure increases, and the side and leeward surface generate local eddy currents, and the static pressure decreases. Compared with the undisturbed air flow in the distance, this increase or decrease in static pressure is collectively referred to as wind pressure. When the static pressure rises, the wind pressure is positive, which is called positive pressure, and the static pressure drops, and the wind pressure is negative, which is called negative pressure.
